I am a Perth based artist who is currently completing their Fine Art Degree at Curtin University. Being open to new mediums allows me to explore the contemporary idea of letting life’s experiences dictate the art I make. With my meaning potentially driving the medium and mode of work.

Currently my sculptural work explores the field of expanded painting. Specifically exploring how individual rocks can be used as a creative device (the rock becomes the paintbrush). My work then attempting to collage the surface texture/form of rocks in a sculptural way, to give the viewer the grounds to consider how although shaped from existing forms, how is a new one still created? The forms then unique to one another, and give credit to logistics of science and the idea that each individual rock we come across within nature is different, and that experience of understanding that is what makes rocks special.
My past work is more 2d and explores the way in which language in the form of different texts, can convey deeper or contrasting meanings to what the language merely is known as.
